Privacy policy
This is short, plain-language template wording covering the site's own data handling. It has not been reviewed by a solicitor, and that's a step worth taking before relying on it for anything beyond a small informational site.
What this site collects
Browsing this site does not require an account and does not collect personal information from visitors beyond standard, non-identifying web server logs kept by the hosting provider (Cloudflare) for security and performance purposes.
Admin account
This site has one administrator account, used by Karla Lee's Kitchen to publish recipes and blog posts. That account's email address and password (stored as a securely hashed value, never in plain text) are kept in a private database and are not shared with or sold to any third party.
Cookies
A single cookie is set only when the administrator signs in, to keep that login session active. It is not used for advertising or tracking, is not readable by other websites, and is deleted on sign out or after it expires.
Third-party services
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which may process standard connection data (such as IP address) as part of delivering the site securely. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may see a request for the font file from your browser.
